Vallein Tercinier - Cognac Bons Bois - Lot 88

Cognacs from the Vallein Tercinier house delight the palates of discerning connoisseurs, now in their fifth and sixth generations. Around the small community of Chermignac, the mostly Ugni Blanc grapes thrive in various "crus." From these, Vallein Tercinier distills and blends (sometimes with purchased eaux-de-vie) to create the finest yet affordable Cognacs for both connoisseurs and newcomers—including, increasingly, whisky fans. The family business has recently been capturing the latter group with precious, unadulterated single casks from the house's extensive, decades-old inventory.

Distilled at harvest time in 1988, the Cognac Bons Bois Lot 88, on the other hand, offers earthy and floral aromas, hints of cigar box and cocoa, and a lively interplay of pepper and candied fruits.
