The 1er Cru 'Grande Champagne' vineyard produces arguably the finest and most complex Cognacs, usually with extended barrel aging. The Grande Champagne region is covered by over 13,200 hectares of vineyards producing white wines for Cognac production. This vineyard produces very fine and light brandies with a floral bouquet that require extended aging in oak barrels to fully develop. Brandies produced exclusively from this vineyard are entitled to bear the appellation contrôlée "Cognac Grande Champagne" or "Cognac Grande Fine Champagne."

The Vallein Tercinier family has been based in Chermignac in the Saintonge region since around 1480 and has been producing exceptional Cognacs since the mid-19th century. For five generations, the Vallein Tercinier family has maintained its commitment to offering the very best. With a history spanning almost 300 years, the Vallein Tercinier house deserves the interest of all Cognac lovers – from eaux-de-vie novices to experts. This brother and sister team brings a Cognac expertise that is simply waiting to be discovered. Here, Cognacs are created for both category connoisseurs and newcomers – including, increasingly, whisky fans. The family business has recently been capturing the latter group of connoisseurs with precious single-cask bottlings from the house's extensive, decades-old collection. Many of Vallein Tercinier's Cognacs have received the highest awards worldwide and are increasingly becoming sought-after collector's items.
COGNAC DISTILLED 1967
A cognac from 1967 – a unique experience, not just for cognac lovers. This exclusive cognac is presented in a classic bottle, enclosed in a fine handcrafted wooden box with a fittingly luxurious inlay. After aging for 53 years in wooden barrels, the cognac unfolds in the bottle to reveal a striking copper-gold hue with a slight ruby red shimmer.
