This barrel spent about two years in Guyana before being banished to the United Kingdom.
This is a big and powerful rum! Get involved and surrender to the feeling of being put in a protective headlock by an anthropomorphic cucumber with intimidating arm tattoos.
Experience with quiet awe taste sensations such as drinking barrel-aged seawater, miniaturizing and inserting yourself into the event horizon of a black olive, shooting yourself with a grapefruit, and sipping bandage distillate in the tropical evening sun.
Tasting Notes
Nose: Very powerful and precise! Full of green and black olives, supported by plenty of other savory notes like gherkins and capers. The water enhances the medicinal and spicy notes in the background.
Palate: A grand entrance with seawater, grapefruit, and bandages soaked in medicinal tinctures. Purity, power, and precision in abundance!
Finish: very long, very spicy, salty, citrus and medicinal.
