This 2014 10-year-old Tomatin was selected by Nigel the Capercaillie for our Decadent Drams series. It was matured in a second-fill sherry hogshead and bottled with a few degrees of reduction to Nigel's preferred 53% ABV. Despite considerable protest from Nigel, we've printed a photo of him on the label to celebrate this collaboration.
We love this profile, which balances the distinct richness of the cask while retaining the luscious fruit and distillate character. It has plenty of typical Tomatin deliciousness with some truly specific fruit details. A delightful little sip!
