Redbreast whiskeys are venerable representatives of the traditional single pot still Irish whiskeys. Neither a blend nor a single malt, distillates from this complex Irish category are produced in a single distillery from malted and unmalted barley, distilled in a traditional copper pot still. As is typical of the Irish style, the Midleton Distillery also passes its vapors through the pot still three times. The result: the wonderfully mild, aromatic Redbreast spirit.
The Redbreast 15 yo is also strong and voluminous: berries and juicy stone fruit meet freshly ground pepper, which transitions to notes of grain and roasted wood.
