Privateer Rum demonstrates its artistry in a unique way with single-cask bottlings from the Letters of Marque series, named after the Letter of Marque, the legal basis for piracy. We have selected Letters of Marque Single Cask No. 574 exclusively for our customers.
Its basis: premium Guatemalan molasses, produced in a facility that ensures commitment to the environment and to the standards of sugarcane workers.
Fermented extensively over 6 days at cool temperatures, it was distilled twice in a pot still and the aromatic result was left to the magic of a New American Oak Cask.
After 4 years and 4 months of maturation in the maritime climate of Massachusetts, the rum, with a full-bodied 57% ABV, flowed into 228 vintage-style bottles.
