Mit der Peatwave-Serie widmet sich Caskhound rauchigen Charakteren jenseits der klassischen Islay-Pfade. Dieser Peallach – getorfter Tobermory – verbindet den maritim-erdigen Brennereistil der Isle of Mull mit der fruchtig-würzigen Tiefe eines Madeira-Finishes. Nach der Hauptreifung erhielt das Destillat ein einjähriges Finish im 2nd Fill Madeira Barrique, das die Torfrauchstruktur um weinige Säure, dunkle Frucht und elegante Süße erweitert. In Fassstärke abgefüllt, zeigt sich diese Abfüllung kraftvoll, vielschichtig und spannungsgeladen.
