The Mortlach 31 yo now expands the range of hand-picked rarities. After distillation on June 14, 1990, the Speyside single malt was aged for more than three decades in a refill sherry butt. The result: a complex profile with pastry notes, syrup, plum jam, and dried fruits for special moments of enjoyment.
The Amber Dream was bottled exclusively for Kirsch Import customers and delivered in an elegant real wood box.
Tasting Notes:
Nose: Moist cake with dried fruits, its slightly burnt edges covered with fragrant brandy butter, followed by sugar beet syrup and ginger biscuits.
Palate: Slices of salted caramel cake, juicy plum jam, and fresh cinnamon rolls. Followed by roasted hazelnuts and cranberries covered in dark chocolate.
Finish: Pleasant and warming, with a lingering impression of aniseed vanilla cupcakes.
