This 12-year-old Mannochmore from the Dutch independent bottler Whiskydudes was first matured in a refill butt and then further matured for over 2 years in an old PX Sherry Barrique from 1981!
The whisky displays an old-school sherry profile! Old oak, shoe polish, plenty of cherries, and whipped cream. This bottling has a soft, mellow profile and carries notes of vanilla, brown sugar, and plums that create a sugary, syrupy sweetness. Red fruits, crowned with a hint of orange, add complexity to the eloquent finish. This whisky is truly a masterpiece of balance and refinement. Worthy of being a queen, it outshines even the finest whiskies.
