The 2024 bottled LROK Hampden 8 Years 2016/2024 - Rest & Be Thankful & Wu-Dram comes from Jamaica; it is a molasses rum. The bottle contains 65% alcohol by volume at cask strength.
Jamaica is a paradise for discerning sugarcane fans – like Wu Dram Clan and Kirsch Import. Together with Rest & Be Thankful, we are enriching the German market with two exclusive Pure Single Jamaican Rums. As is typical for this independent bottler of premium rum and whisky, our Single Cask and Micro Batch are free from any additives, colorings, or chill filtration.
Anyone looking for first-class rum can hardly ignore Hampden Estate. The LROK 2016/2024 offers a highly individual perspective on this Jamaican distillery. This single cask, bearing the LROK brand (Light Rum Owen Kelly), boasts a robust ester content of 245 g/hlpa. After eight years of ageing in a continental bourbon barrel, its characteristic funk blends with overripe exotic fruits, marzipan, and smoky wood.
We ship exclusively with DHL. Optionally, and for an additional charge, we offer DHL Express (not available in Germany). Furthermore, all shipments are sent with DHL age verification.
