Highland Park 23 Years 1999/2022 - Douglas Laing - The Bear

Things are about to get mystical! We're taking you on a mysterious journey into the wonderful world of Scottish whiskies. Under the evocative name "The Spirit Animal Series," we've created a unique whisky series exclusively for the German market in collaboration with Douglas Laing & Co. Spirit Animals represent the animal soulmate, or in this case, the soulmate whisky. For each bottling, special attention was paid to the cask selection, ensuring the whisky was aged in sherry casks to do justice to the mystical and mysterious. The expressive labels on the bottles each symbolize a native animal species, enhanced by distinctive colors.

Wild and free, the bear on the label is bursting with vitality. This wildness is reflected in the nose in the form of salty, maritime notes. On the palate, as you would expect from a bear, juicy honey notes and sweet peat are convincing. The finish is long and warm.
