Under the name Habitation Velier, Velier exclusively assembles pure single rums: They originate from a single distillery, are distilled there in pot stills, and are the equivalent of Scottish single malts. The complexity of these rums is demonstrated, among other things, by their congener content, i.e., components such as esters, which contribute significantly to the aroma.
The Hampden 2019 LROK Sherry Cask is the new rum rarity from the Jamaican manufacturer with the popular LROK brand (Light Rum Owen Kelly). The ester content here ranges from 200 to 400 g/hlpa.
