This 13-year-old Glenrothes from Dutch independent bottler Whiskydudes has been matured for almost two years in a Fresh PX Quarter Cask.
Nose : rich and inviting, with notes of sultanas, dried apricots, dark chocolate and a hint of furniture polish.
Palate : Pleasant, with a blend of aromas like red berries and crème brûlée, along with notes of dark chocolate and syrupy, PX-enriched wine.
Finish : Ripe plums lend the overall profile a delightful richness. The finish is long and lingering, with a subtle sweetness that lingers almost indefinitely.
