Billy Walker fulfilled a dream last year: The industry legend created The GlenAllachie 30 yo from the vintage stocks of the GlenAllachie Distillery. Batch 2 is now available. The optimal interplay of distillery character and wood is guaranteed by the combination of 1990 and 1991 vintages, which matured primarily in former PX and Oloroso hogsheads and puncheons. Walker blended a total of eight casks to create the new batch of The GlenAllachie 30 yo.
Bottled at cask strength 50.8% vol., non-chill-filtered, and with a natural mahogany hue, the 30-year-old offers sherry refinement and GlenAllachie character in perhaps its purest form: dark and dried fruits, mocha, and sweet spices blend with the typical notes of heather honey.
