As every year in May, many whisky fans flock to the Kintyre Peninsula to experience the Victorian whisky capital of Campbeltown in all its glory. In 2024, Glen Scotia delights with a 9-year-old single malt whisky, matured in first-fill bourbon casks and finished in the finest fino sherry casks. The single malt whisky was bottled at cask strength at 56.2% ABV. The fino sherry casks refine the malt with fresh and floral notes of citrus and light fruits. Sharp wood notes complement this with a long and balanced finish. This year's edition reflects the essence of Campbeltown: a hint of saltiness meets maritime nuances.
