Elements of Islay - Fireside

For Elements of Islay, the independent bottler Elixir Distillers selects whiskies from various active and partially inactive Islay distilleries. The bottlers compose their delicious elemental blends from casks of different ages, sometimes from different distilleries. The goal: to capture the full spectrum of the island's malt whiskies, with their medicinal, peaty, and maritime character.

Elements of Islay – Fireside 2024 is a blended malt from two distilleries on Islay's north coast, matured in heavily charred hogsheads, American oak Oloroso sherry hogsheads, and European oak Oloroso sherry butts. Its bold profile of fireside smoke with rich red fruits and candied orange is inspired by the cozy image of enjoying a smoky dram by the fire with friends after being caught in a rainstorm on Islay.
