The 2024 version of Hedonism is based on more mature whiskies from the Cameronbridge, Girvan, and Port Dundas distilleries, which were matured almost exclusively in first-fill bourbon barrels. The effect: impressively deep vanilla and toffee notes and a wonderfully smooth attack.
Additionally, the 2024 Limited Annual Release includes Compass Box's final stocks of grain whiskies distilled in the 1990s – a time when some of the participating distilleries used corn for their mash, which adds an additional buttery richness to the overall composition.
Bottled in 7,746 collectible bottles, the blended grain Scotch whisky offers connoisseurs a complex taste experience of caramel, spicy honey, mascarpone, and rich vanilla, culminating in a delicate citrus finish.
