The antiques were distilled by the Tiffon family and its then-family head, Sverre Braastad, who himself lived to be 100 years old. The Norwegian married into the family in 1913 and later relocated the business, established in 1875, to the historic Château de Triac. The house now encompasses 40 hectares in the Grande Champagne and Fins Bois regions. Tiffon operates in a highly traditional way: From the vine to the bottle, everything is in family hands.
