The two spent a long time refining the name and label: "Caogad Tri," Gaelic for the number 53, became the name, and it ties in with the concept of combining a regional product with Schwäbisch Hall's culture. The decisive factor for the label motif was an old postcard from 1903, inviting visitors to the Protestant parish festival and featuring an impressive depiction of the grand staircase—the site of the open-air theater.
53 steps lead to St. Michael's Church, which has also been a holder of the "European Heritage Label" since 2013. Reason enough to manage this "ascent" centrally as a brand, adds Marco... If you are curious about the whisky, here they are: the first four bottlings, each of which is

matured. Due to the size of the barrels, a wonderful and intensive exchange of raw spirit with the wood took place! Except for the Virgin Oak (190l), all barrels are 120l in volume!
