A blend of the best: Black Tot Master Blender's Reserve 2025 with Caroni

Since 2021, the premium Black Tot brand from Elixir Distillers has been celebrating the end of a legendary era: Black Tot Day. In honor of the former rum rations in the British Navy, which were issued for the last time on July 31, 1970, Master Blender Oliver Chilton creates a select Master Blender's Reserve each year.

The Master Blender's Reserve 2025 revisits the signature flavors of the 50th Anniversary Edition, creating a bolder, more traditional rum style.

Rum from Guyana provides luscious notes of licorice and dark chocolate, balanced by overripe banana notes from the Jamaican portion. A blend of older rums, up to 18 years old, and younger rums from Barbados adds additional complexity with grapefruit and buttery notes.

A rare cask from the closed Caroni distillery in Trinidad, last year's Master Blender's Reserve, and a touch of the original Royal Navy Blend, which has been blended continuously since the early 19th century, complete this dense and robust rum.
