Ein außergewöhnlicher Speyside Single Malt aus der traditionsreichen Benromach Distillery, der durch die Reifung in einem ersten Fass Sassicaia-Wein eine einzigartige Tiefe und Finesse erhält. Diese limitierte Einzelfassabfüllung ist Teil der exklusiven Awakening Series 2025 und zeigt die Verbindung von schottischer Destillierkunst mit italienischer Weinfass-Charakteristik.
In der Nase entfalten sich komplexe Aromen von reifer Kirsche, roten Beeren, dunkler Schokolade und Vanille, unterlegt von feinen Kräutern und eleganter Eichenwürze.
Am Gaumen präsentiert sich der Whisky vollmundig, samtig und ausgewogen, mit Noten von Beerenkompott, Toffee, Gewürz und einem Hauch Sassicaia-Wein, die sich harmonisch mit der Malzbasis verbinden.
Das Finish ist lang, elegant und fruchtbetont, mit Anklängen von Schokolade, Kirschen und subtilem Eichenholz.
