Die Bewohner von Whiskyland feiern gerne große Geburtstage. Wenn man genauer darüber nachdenkt, feiern sie auch gerne kleine. Ehrlich gesagt, feiern sie einfach gerne. Trotzdem ist 40 Jahre ein schöner Meilenstein. Dieser 40-jährige Ardmore von 1985 tauchte rein zufällig in den Tiefen unserer Tabellenkalkulation auf, und wir hatten das Gefühl, das Universum wolle uns sagen, dass wir das Jahr 2025 mit einer kleinen Abfüllung eines 40-jährigen Whiskyland-Whiskys abrunden sollten. Es handelt sich um eine Vermählung zweier wiederbefüllter Hogsheads, abgefüllt in natürlicher Fassstärke, und es ist ein wunderbar weicher, torfiger, wachsartiger und honigsüßer Old Malt mit großartigem Charakter.
