Whiskyand Chapter Seven ist ein 30 Jahre alter Springbank aus dem Jahr 1994. Vollständig gereift im Nachfüller Sherry Hogshead und in natürlicher Fassstärke abgefüllt. Dies ist wahrscheinlich eines der besten Springbanks, den Decadent Drinks bisher abgefüllt haben. Ein atemberaubender Sherry-Einfluss, der tiefgreifend ist eingebettet und verflochten mit dem erstaunlichen Charakter der Springbank-Brennerei. Ein Gesamtprofil, das wirklich an einige wunderschön Sherryfass-gerreifte Springbands aus den 1960er Jahren erinnert.
Tasting Notes
Nose: Deeply earthy, mulchy, waxy, coastal and mineral sherry, with gamey edges, the softest of peat smoke notes, camphor, rancio and walnut wine. Harmonious, deep and beautiful!
Palate: Captured at a perfect age and perfect natural strength. This is vividly beautiful, full of velvety, earthy sherry, pure bodega earthiness, the funk of old Oloroso, camphor, waxes, subtle coastal mineral notes, bone dry peat smoke and a few softer dark fruit notes.
Finish: Very long, herbal, peaty, richly waxy and still full of earthy, nutty, rancio sherry vibes. Sublime!
