Der Whisky-Druide hat einmal mehr in seine Trickkiste gegriffen: Eine frische Runde Best Drams bringt Abwechslung aus neuen und selten unabhängig abgefüllten Brennereien, aus Torfmalz und tückischen „leaky casks“ – und wie immer aus unverfälschter und fassstarker Abfüllung.
Tomatin haben nur wenige unabhängige Abfüller im Programm – Michel Reick dank langjähriger Beziehungen nach Schottland schon. Sein Tomatin 2007/2025 hat aus noch einem Grund Seltenheitswert: Das undichte PX Sherry Butt ergab statt erwarteten 730 nur noch 360 Flaschen, die dennoch mit Cask Strength befüllt wurden.
