Smögen 10 Years 2012/2023 - Tawny Port Finish
Smögen is the epitome of a micro-distillery. The one-man-and-one-dog operation produces just 115 liters of raw spirit per day. Distilled from peat malt to a typical alcohol content of 71% ABV, the "new make" is matured entirely on-site in Hunnebostrand, Sweden, and is bottled exclusively as a malt whisky.
Smögen whiskies are generally characterized by their powerful, characterful whiskies with distinct smoky notes, maritime overtones, and malty sweetness. This latest bottling is no exception. The Smögen 10 yo is distilled from heavily peated Optic smoked malt. This robust whisky matured for a full two years in casks previously filled with fruity-sweet Tawny port.
We ship exclusively with DHL. Optionally, and for an additional charge, we offer DHL Express (not available in Germany). Furthermore, all shipments are sent with DHL age verification.
