Savanna 10 years - Cognac Single Cask bottled for Germany
The sugarcane paradise of La Réunion is home to the Savanna distillery. Where the tall sweet grass thrives on fertile soils, the distillery has been handcrafting it into authentic rum varieties since 1870. It comes in the form of freshly pressed juice and molasses—a rarity for distilleries in the French overseas departments.
Savanna single casks are also rare. Over a year after its debut, we have now secured a new single cask bottling exclusively for the German market. With the Savanna 10 yo Cognac Cask, one of the finest rums from the distillery's cellars finds its way to connoisseurs. Distilled from molasses in a C20 column still, it matured for a full decade in the tropical island climate. A further 640 cask-strength bottles were ultimately bottled from the French oak cask.
We ship exclusively with DHL. Optionally, and for an additional charge, we offer DHL Express (not available in Germany). Furthermore, all shipments are sent with DHL age verification.
For logistical reasons, a maximum of 12 bottles (EU) and 6 bottles (non-EU) are possible per order. For larger orders, please contact us in advance – see the contact form.
