Mars Malt Duo - Komagatake x Chichibu 2021
Japan has worked its way to the global whisky top. Contributing to this are distilleries like Mars Shinshu, which stand for great expertise and a diverse range of premium whiskies made entirely from their own production. And Chichibu, named after the small town where Ichiro Akuto founded Whisky Ventures, one of Japan's most respected whisky companies. The single malt is created following the Scottish model with a particular focus on sustainability and naturalness. What makes the bottlings from these two distilleries particularly exciting is that they mature in different climate zones.
In 2015, Mars and Chichibu joined forces for a pioneering project and exchanged casks for the first time. These casks were stored in the climate zones of both distilleries—from temperate to alpine—and blended on-site to create the unique blended malt Japanese whiskies, Mars Whisky Malt Duo 2021.
We ship exclusively with DHL. Optionally, and for an additional charge, we offer DHL Express (not available in Germany). Furthermore, all shipments are sent with DHL age verification.
