Jean Fillioux Lot 65-70 - Grande Champagne - Journal des Kirsch #11
Free shipping: Germany from 150 €, EU from 350 €.
Anyone who opens a single cask from our Journal des Kirsch series will be taken on a journey through fluid tales from France, full of excitement, surprise, delight, and variety. For the latest tale, we take connoisseurs to the picturesque La Pouyade winery—in the "Golden Triangle," the heart of Grande Champagne.
In the heart of this privileged terroir, the Fillioux family has been putting down deep roots for generations. One Fillioux branch operates in the background of the great cognac world and is responsible for the cuvées of world market leader Hennessy. Led by Christophe Fillioux, the other branch cultivates a traditional cognac house with its own vineyards and a deep respect for origins and craftsmanship.
Christophe is the brains behind our Journal des Kirsch N.11. His Jean Fillioux Lot 65-70 matured in French oak barrels for over half a century. The cognac refines the exceptional elegance and complexity of Grande Champagne with tropical, creamy characteristics.
Bottled at natural strength and strictly limited to only 162 bottles, this new chapter is a true gem: aromatically deep, historically valuable, round in character and stylistically clear – a cognac with soul.
