In diesem limitierten Release treffen ein 10‑jähriger Bowmore (Ex Bourbon Barrel) und ein 13‑jähriger Bruichladdich (Refill Sherry Hogshead) aufeinander – zwei Whiskys, die Islay auf völlig unterschiedliche Weise interpretieren.
Der Bowmore bringt die typische maritime Rauchigkeit, salzige Brise und dunkle Frucht mit, während der Bruichladdich mit seiner, frischen und fruchtbetonten Stilistik einen faszinierenden Kontrast setzt. Gemeinsam entsteht ein Malt, der Tiefe, Balance und eine außergewöhnliche aromatische Spannung bietet.
Die Islay Connection ist streng limitiert und richtet sich an Genießer, die die Vielfalt der Insel in einem einzigen Glas erleben möchten. Ein Whisky für Sammler, Kenner – und alle, die Islay neu entdecken wollen.
