To mark the 20th anniversary of Compass Box's smoky standard bottling, the limited edition The Peat Monster Cask Strength combines celebrated malt whiskies from the Caol Ila and Williamson distilleries on the south coast of Islay.
Compass Box further emphasizes The Peat Monster's special connection to the USA, where its success story began, with a partial finish in custom virgin American oak barrels from Missouri, which were briefly inoculated with grain spirit. The result: robust vanilla and cinnamon notes with sooty barbecue smoke, seaweed, salt, and citrus notes.
