Der Caol Ila 2010/2026 ist ein 15-jähriges Single Cask, abgefüllt aus dem Oloroso-Fass. Während die Malts der Islay-Brennerei viele der für die Insel typischen Rauchnoten aufzeigen, besitzen sie zugleich eine fruchtige Eleganz. Berry Bros. & Rudd unterstrich diesen dynamischen Charakter mit dem Sherry-Finale.
Bei intensiven 55,1% vol. Cask Strength treffen so teerige Seile, gummiartiger Torf und Lagerfeuer aus Treibholz auf kräftige Feigenmarmelade, Orangenschale und abgenutztes Leder. Ölige Noten von Milchschokolade, Vanillebiskuit und pochierte Birne leiten den langen und vielschichtigen Nachklang ein, der mit süßer Asche endet.
