Equinox & Solstice war schon immer mehr als nur Whisky. Jede Abfüllung ist eine Interpretation einer Jahreszeit – nicht nur durch den Charakter des Whiskys selbst, sondern auch durch das dazugehörige Artwork. Ein Moment des Jahres, eingefangen in Geschmack, Textur, Farbe und Atmosphäre.
Die diesjährige Summer Edition ist ein 10-jähriger Balmenach, der zunächst in Refill-Fässern reifte und anschließend in einem First-Fill-Bourbon-Quarter-Cask sein Finish erhielt. Das Ergebnis ist ein lebendiger, wachsartiger Whisky mit Aromen von gelben Früchten, Honig, Blütenpollen, Zitrusfrüchten und sanfter Vanillesüße. Volle Textur, viel Frische – genau der Whisky, den wir uns für den Übergang zu längeren Tagen und wärmerem Licht gewünscht haben.
