This eighth edition of the CRAZY COOS RELOADED series also impresses visually with its idiosyncratic charm: This time, the stylish "Scotland COO" takes the spotlight, setting the tone with casual elegance. As always, Lana Mathieson's illustration gives the whisky a fitting face—with character, wit, and a keen sense of Scottish idiosyncrasies.

Nose: Fresh and inviting – tangy herbal lemonade meets juicy honeydew melon and the warm scent of black tea. A ripe red apple glistens in a caramel glaze, while Aperol adds a delicate note. This is complemented by fine spices, a hint of pipe tobacco, and a touch of lovage.

Palate: Soft and pleasantly oily, it opens with warming cinnamon and a hint of lovage. A gentle peppery note follows, before fruity apricot jam and candied orange slices set the tone. Raisin cookies, a hint of mocha, and licorice add depth, accompanied by notes of an old leather bag, a touch of furniture polish, and an old wooden cabinet.

Finish: Long-lasting, increasingly dry. Caramelized walnuts and creamy dates meet oriental spices—cinnamon, allspice, and cloves—before a slightly bitter oak spice brings the finish.
