Das Ergebnis: „The Distilleries of Great Britain & Ireland“ – die früheste umfassende fotografische Bestandsaufnahme der Brennereilandschaft und für echte Fans ein unverzichtbarer Einblick in die Vergangenheit des Lebenswassers.
Von den 124 im Buch vorgestellten Brennereien sind manche längst verloren. Viele produzieren aber bis heute Whisky. James Eadie würdigt diese in einer Reihe von Single Casks und Small Batches, wobei jeder Whisky in Best Strength, unverfälscht und mit Illustrationen nach Originalaufnahmen dekoriert abgefüllt wird.
